The IDEE - Innovation, Design and Engaged Entrepreneurship course, previously known as ID-DIM, brings together designers, engineers and managers concerned with the ethical and responsible dimensions of innovation, to question ditigal technologies in the light of the necessary transformations of our ways of living in the world. These contemporary issues being by nature complex, they require a collective, interdisciplinary and inventive way of working, capable of rethinking and shifting our ways of doing things and allowing us to reposition our ways of practicing our professions, in coherence with the contemporary world. This is why the IDEE training program will emphasize this positioning in 2023-2024.

The IDEE program, created by the ESAD in Reims and two schools of the Institut Mines-Télécom - Institut Mines-Télécom Business School & TélécomSudParis - is recruiting its new class. Organized in project mode and in interdisciplinary teams, the training offers to develop one’s practice, expertise, skills and knowledge in the digital environment, which today combines creation, artisanal and industrial practices, technological innovation, ethical entrepreneurship, social actions, new uses, etc.

It is open on application to designers – graphic design / type design / object design / product design / space design / scenography / digital design / textile design / sound design / motion design / … – who have a DNSEP or a Master’s degree in design, who will form teams with engineers and managers from our two partner schools.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION SHEET OF THE TRAINING

  • Duration: one year. It is organized according to the following principle: an academic semester in project mode (370 hours of teaching) followed by a semester of internship in a company.
  • 1st academic semester (start of school in mid-September 2024): organized around interdisciplinary group projects and supported by 3 teaching modules in Design, Engineering and Management (see the training program)
  • 2nd Semester Internship (begins February 1): You are free to choose your internship. The career center of the campus helps you if you wish to find an internship in their network of companies in the digital sector. A thesis is also produced during this semester.
  • Location: in the premises of the partner schools IMT-BS and TSP in Evry, with the exception of a one-week workshop at ESAD in Reims and a week of worksop at Le Cube Garges.
  • Certification: This post-graduate degree is completed by a certificate of participation, co-signed by the three founding schools.
  • Training Fee: 900 € + 55 € registration fee

The training is multi-school and open to the following different profiles:

  • Designers with a DNSEP or Master’s degree in Design (graphic design / type design / object design / product design / space design / scenography / digital design / textile design / …) within the last 4 years.
  • Engineers from Télécom SudParis, in their final year of a Master’s degree
  • Manager from Institut Mines-Télécom Business School, in the last year of the Master’s program

3/ Pay the pre-registration fee

  • By 1 cheque for 55 €, made out to « ESAD inscription »
  • To be sent by mail at this address: ESAD de Reims - 12 rue Libergier - 51100 Reims
  • Please specify in the envelope the title of the course (“Post-diploma IDEE”) as well as your first and last name

As soon as the 3 elements are received, your file is seen by a commission and in case of pre-selection you are contacted again for an interview.

4/ Final selection interview
If you are pre-selected, you will be invited to participate in a video-conference interview session. The interview lasts about 20 minutes during which you explain your background and your motivation to participate in the program in a discussion with a jury.

5/ Registration
In case of selection, your registration is confirmed after opening your school file and payment of your registration fees.
