Bachelor Programme

Bachelor programme: a first foundation training to learn the tools, methods and issues of the discipline

It lasts three years and leads to the Diplôme National d’Art / DNA.

The first preparatory year consists of fundamental courses for all students, without specialisation. During this year, a first course in graphic design is given.

Once the graphic and digital design speciality is chosen, from the second year onwards, students acquire skills in typography, publishing (press and books), editorial design, photography, video and motion design, interface design (mobile applications, website), introduction to code (web languages and processing), service design, digital prototyping (arduino and interactive devices). This training is accompanied by an annual programme of conferences and meetings dedicated to the culture of graphic and digital design, as well as workshops organised with our partners and invited designers. The curriculum at Esad also allows students to participate in certain courses in other options (object design, culinary design, etc.)
